Let’s talk about sugar and break some things down. Sugar is a complex (please, note the pun) issue, and the main discussion here is defining the difference between naturally occurring sugars and added, processed ones.
Sugar also masquerades under many names, and this can make label reading a challenge. Learning to spot those names in ingredients lists and knowing the ins and outs of food labeling is a good skill to learn (your favorite health coach can help with that!).
